Youth Job Connection

About the Program

Youth Job Connection offers intensive, specialized support to youth who are not in work or training and who face complex and multiple barriers to employment. This program will assist youth to prepare for, find and retain suitable jobs through pre-employment training, coaching and job placements with employers. The goal is to achieve long term employment, meaningful careers, and success in their future working lives.


What the Program Provides

At least 60 hours of paid pre-employment training to prepare youth for the workforce. Participants will be paid minimum wage for the time that they participate in the mandatory pre-employment training.

This training includes: Jobs for up to 6 months, with support and funding for employers.

Mentorship, coaching and help with school and work transitions after the program ends.


Come into one of our local offices and complete a registration form and speak to one our our employment counsellors to participate in this program.
