Job Skills Training

Training to obtain or improve your job skills may be 'on-the-job', self-study, through public or private colleges and universities, on-line or through distance education. Our employment counsellors can provide valuable assistance and advice in guiding you through your career exploration and research and researching the various training institutions that meet your needs.

We are also responsible for assisting our clients in making application to Employment Ontario's Second Career Strategy program. Speak to your counsellor to learn about this process.

(note - If you are in receipt of Employment Insurance benefits, be sure to contact an employment counsellor before registering for any courses to ensure your benefits will not be disrupted! Learn more here about Employment Insurance (EI) and courses or training programs at Service Canada. )
